01 — Overnight Look
Trump posted "A whole civilization will die tonight" on Truth Social this morning. Not a metaphor — that's the actual quote, with an 8pm ET deadline for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz or face strikes on power plants and bridges. Futures are red, VIX is creeping, and gold is selling off into a live war threat. Everything is on hold until 8pm. Plan accordingly.

02 — Today's Play
Expecting a hot, wide open at 8:30 CT — but the bias is bearish. The geopolitical overhang is too heavy for bulls to hold anything for long. I'm watching the first 5 minutes of the open for a spike, then looking to scalp the initial move and get short on the fade. The Iran deadline tonight at 8pm ET is the real event — not the open. I'll take a clean entry on the way down, keep size small, and be flat well before that deadline hits. No reason to be holding overnight into whatever Trump does at 8.
